Truck has 115K original miles on it, and it still has its 2.5L gasoline 4-cylinder engine in it. Truck has very little rust, very solid original frame (With original VIN # Still etched in it) starts, runs, stops like a champ. 4-cylinder gas engine breathing through a Weber carburetor produces about the same power as the 19J turbo-diesel engine (but much less torque) and gets about 20-25MPG - Not too shabby! Of course, I can convert it for the new owner once it is here in the USA to 200tdi diesel if they prefer - Would run about $7000 for the fresh turbo-diesel engine kit and all labor and parts to do the job for you.
I have done all the paperwork to legally import it, and it can be licensed and titled here in Oregon for you if you like, or take paperwork and license in your own state. Cost for the truck as it sits now, here in Portland, ready to be collected at my spot is $12700. Truck will receive a service and be ready to use for a good long while, and even carry a 90-day 'I feel Good Buying This Truck' warranty.
You know a Defender 90 is cool - Be the envy of your neighborhood and have fun off road, too. Your kids will love it. Your wife will find it amusing (hopefully) for a while. This will probably be one of the most 'fun' cars you ever own. Top off in the summer- and I even have soft top kits available here too.
