1988 Toyota Landcruiser LJ70 - MORE PICTURES

Here are some more pictures we took right before slipping the Landcruiser into the container -  Very solid,  with the one crack on a fiberglass wheel lip trim the worst of the truck, in my opinion.   Very solid, honest, and BOX-STOCK Toyota turbo-diesel Land Cruiser should be a lot of fun!   Here are more pictures, as promised :

1995 Range Rover LWB/Soft Dash Classic w/300tdi diesel & R380 5-speed - very pretty!

We are just wrapping up this 1995 Long Wheelbase Range Rover this week,   it has a low-mileage 300tdi that we went ahead an put a new timing belt in as well as new clutch/ engine seals/ etc.    Has new fluids of course,  so come and get it and you are good for the next 60K miles until you need to service this truck.

This Rover is a 1995 'Soft Dash Classic'  in 'Cornish Cream'  -   Sort of an off-white.   The body on this truck is super-nice.    Truck came out of Texas and therefore has absolutely no rust.   There is one very tiny ding at the very rear of the truck, down low,  just in front of the rear bumper, very hard to see,   other than that the body is perfect!   Truck has not been detailed yet as of these pictures being taken, I will update photos later.     Truck chassis has 140K miles on it,   engine and gearboxes have just over 90K,  but as I mentioned have just been serviced and will be good for 100-150K more miles before anything serious will have to be done, provided you take care of maintenance.

Interior is very nice too,   but seats are a bit faded.   Slightly lighter than 'tan' leather,   I think they may be referred to as 'parchment' -?    Headliner is nice,   dash is perfect,  everything works (windows/ seats/ etc)  -   I have a complete set of black leather non-power (manual) seats I may try to swap in to see if they look nice -    Otherwise these seats are nice and will look better after truck is detailed.

Engine is super-string and truck starts, runs, drives and stops as it should.     EAS Air Suspension is still in place and working fine albeit a little slow when it first raises up.     I can swap out for solid springs/ shocks if you prefer,  $1000-$2000 more depending on what brand you would like to go with.

Not sure what else to tell you about the truck -  As you know you can not find a 300tdi-Range Rover in the states unless you build one yourself.   This is how they come in the rest of the world, and they run and drive great!  Tons of torque off the line,  will cruise all day at 75-80MPH, and return 30MPG or better on the freeway.       Very cool driving a Range Rover with a stick shift, too!

Stereo sounds great.    Still factory with subwoofer and CD changer in the rear.

Land Rover Defender engine kits - 90/110 specific 200tdi/300tdi/R380 or LT77

I have two more engine kits to sell,  these are both from DEFENDER 90/110 trucks,  and have the mounts/ accessories that are unique to Defender applications, and which also make them ideal to install in your early Series truck like a 2,2A,3 88 or 109" (Especially the 200tdi hi-mount turbo) -   Would also be great in a FC101 Forward Control.       If you are interested in engine kits for your Discovery or Range Rover,  I have those too.

The 300tdi kit here is rebuilt -   Less than 2000 miles on it and it runs perfectly.  I am offering a 12000/12 month warranty on this one,  and it is a complete kit but also comes with the correct floor and transmission tunnel bits to install in your Defender or Series truck.   Includes radiator/ air cleaner, intercooler, wiring pipes, etc...      Considering this one is rebuilt and Defender-versions of this R380 are very difficult to find, I want $6000 for this kit.

I also have a 200tdi engine kit, complete with LT77 short-bellhousing 5 speed - Perfect upgrade for your Series truck.    Tons of power, and this is clean with 89K miles on them, complete kit also ready to go.      $4750 for this kit, complete.

If you do not need a gearbox, I can give you $500 credit off of the purchase price of the kit.

For an additional $550 ,  I can also provide brand-new (instead of used)  radiator, clutch kit complete,  and also include a new fuel pump, water pump, and timing belt kit.

Please send me a message at zombiemotors@earthlink.net with any questions.     All kits are here in the USA on the ground ready to collect or have shipped from zip code 97203.

1983 Range Rover Classic all-original LHD solid MANUAL - should it stay or should it go?

I am debating whether or not to keep this Range Rover Classic.  It is in my favorite color,  has rare manual window regulators,  4-speed manual LT95 gearbox (With an overdrive on the way for relaxed cruising and 8 forward speeds!) ,  stock 3.5L gas engine has had the top-end rebuilt and been fitted with a sing 4-barrel downdraft carburetor for more performance and easier maintenance.     All original seats inside for the time being,  nice dash with no cracks, factory A/C,  and best of all -  NO RUST WHATSOEVER.     Truck was from Nevada, and where it suffered some abuse from the sun (dried out seat covers,  faded paint)  it was preserved in other areas (like zero rust).

I am on the fence with this one.   I have a complete P38 black leather interior with manual seats (impossible to find here in the USA) that would fit right in making the interior look about 95% better,  I have a re-finished complete set of period-correct steel Rostyle wheels that would make it look even more '70's'  -   I have a TURBO DIESEL kit ready to drop in -      This would be my keeper.     That cool avocado green,   non-power windows,   I could make it the way I want to...     That being said,   I am not sure when I will have time to do all this, and in the meantime it is a goo shop truck, as-is.    If someone gives me what it is worth to me ;  $4000,   I would let it go.     Before you start to haggle, , I challenge you to go find another one, anywhere,   and compare prices.   You can not compare this to the 1989 Classic on Craigslist,   or your coveted 1995 LWB with soft dash -   This truck has no equal here in the states -  A color you can not find,   a manual gearbox that was never available here,   no rust...    $4000 is the bottom line.    If I build it the way I picture it,   it will be worth in the neighborhood of $15000.           SO -    Bring your 4 Gs,   and you can drive it home.    For another $800 I'll include the redone Rostyles.

The body has a lot of dings and dents.     The rear half of the headliner is missing (but I am actively looking for one) ,  the seats although comfortable and working, look shabby.     The matte black parts of the truck are faded.          Those are the low points.

You can drive this while you restore it.     Make it a camper.  Convertible.   Keep it original.   Whatever you choose to do,  it will retain its value, and you will not find another one like it.

If you have any questions or ant to see something else,   message me at zombiemotors@earthlink.net -  Thank you
