Pre-Sale-SALE on inbound Land Rover Defenders - 1988 110, 1988 90 turbo diesels

I have more pictures and details of both of these trucks below in previous posts,    but as of now they are in Containers and on their way to me here in Portland.       As usual,  I am offering them up for sale now to see if anyone is interested in being 'first in line' for when they arrive.    These are both stock trucks with original engines and frames,  and as always I guarantee arrival and clear Oregon titles on the trucks arrive and I submit the paperwork on them.     To remind you -  I am a licensed and bonded/ insured car dealer here in Oregon,  (Oregon License # DA4226)

so you are guaranteed a title and arrival of your vehicle.     I can also help you bring in your own Land Rover Defender 90/110 if you have been thinking about buying your own and having it shipped into the USA,  but are nervous about the process.

This Blue Land Rover 110 has spent a long while in Africa,  and was set up for a hot climate -  It has had air conditioning added,  and has the benefit of being much more solid than some trucks which have spent their entire lives in the soggy UK climate.

We would have to discuss your exact specifications for these trucks to arrives at hard prices, but the 110 is going to start at $25K  in its current condition, and go up from there as far as upgrades to engine/ etc etc are concerned.     The white Land Rover 90   has had some welding done to make the chassis solid, and will be a fun, sound truck -  Also fitted with its original 2.5L turbo-diesel engine it is economical to run.     Interior was replaced and looks very nice,   has sat up for the last two years in the UK, so once it arrives I will be going through the brakes/ etc to make sure everything is ready for a road trip should someone want to fly out and drive it home.    I am going to offer this one up for $14000 now as it sits,   and price can also go up   for your desired upgrades.

Basically,   if you have been wanting a classic turbo-diesel Land Rover 90 or 110,  here is an opportunity to get your hands on one for a reasonable price,    and you will not have to deal with import or registration issues or concerns, I take care of it all for you.

I have more options here on the ground for each truck too - Soft top kits, Boost alloy wheels, new interiors or different seats -    A lot to think about,  or if you have your dream truck in mind already,  let me know what you want and I can get it here for you.

Once these trucks are here,  landed, and titled I will be asking substantially more for them.    I offer them for less money when they are still in transit.  I have many references of buyers who have purchased their trucks from me this way.

A deposit of $4000   will hold either truck for you until it arrives, and you have the opportunity to examine it and make sure it is 'as described' , and at that time the remainder will be due in full.   If you find you are not satisfied with the truck for any reason, your deposit will be returned.

If you are seriously considering buying a Defender,   give me a call at 503-810-4713 or message me at zak@zombiemotors.net and let me know what questions you may have.   Send your phone # if you would like a call back.       I am sure if anyone is serious about one of these,  there will be a lot about the truck or process you would like to discuss.

Thanks, and here are a quick couple of pictures of the trucks,  you can find more information in my previous posts below -        ZM

1988 Citroen 2CV 6 Special 'Dolly' - Coming soon for sale - Cool Euro RHD Classic!

I recently purchased this (in my opinion)  very COOL 1988 Right Hand Drive Citroen 2CV6 'Special'  Dolly -     Car is in very good condition overall,  and I appreciate the 2-tone paint and utilitarian nature of the vehicle.  For those of you who are not familiar,  it has a 2-cylinder air-cooled engine in the front, driving the front wheels,   and a 4-speed manual gearbox operated from a small lever that sticks out of the center of the dash.      Full roll-top canvas when open makes this thing look like a sardine can in profile  (Or,   as it is otherwise know, the 'Tin Snail') -    And it truly returns 50MPG or better from its tiny engine.

this may not be the car you want to load your wife and baby into and head off onto the freeway at 70MPH,   but I suppose it would do it.      Would be a treat for running errands around town,  and of course will garner a lot of attention wherever it goes.

These were designed,  as legend goes,  shortly after WW2  in France to be an affordable car that a farmer could 'haul all his eggs to market in, over plowed fields,  without breaking one egg'  -   As well as being a car easily accessible to the population that can offer economy,  space,  and in French tradition a high degree of style...

These cars have a big following, and were very popular ,  selling a couple of million units.  Here in the USA they are highly collectible and sell for a lot more now than when they were new.

I am excited to get my hands on this and drive it for the short time I intend to own it-      I am going to be branching out here soon and bringing over a number of more unusual vehicles in addition to the Land Rovers -  This is what makes my 'Job' fun for me ~

I will be selling this car for $8000 USD  -   If any of you are interested in buying it,   I may be offering it for sale soon with a small deposit to hold it for you until it arrives here at my shop in the USA.    Let me remind you I am now a licensed, bonded car dealer and guarantee delivery and title for this car ~    Oregon Dealer License # DA4226

If you have any questions call me at 503-810-4713 or message me at zak@zombiemotors.net -  Thank you & enjoy the pictures !

Zombie Motors is now Licensed, Insured and Bonded for auto sales and Defender Importing - New website coming soon!

It is TRUE,  in the last few weeks I have become insured, licensed and bonded for public sales of my Land Rover Defenders (and other vehicles) as well as my UK/ European imports of Defender 90 and 110s (and more vehicles currently in the works, too - all unusual and hard-to-find in the USA, such as Citroen, Porsche, TVR, Lotus, Toyota Landcruiser, Nissan Patrol, RHD classics and more) .

What this means is that if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle from me, Zombie Motors, LLC ,   you do not have to worry about whether or not the vehicle will be as described, or allowed a title, etc - Unlike other sellers in the USA offering Defender from the United Kingdom.   I am fully licensed and bonded,  and an agent of the Oregon DMV -  Meaning I can personally take care of all your titling and registration needs after-sale.

I am also educated in the process of legally importing these vehicles into the USA,  and am bonded in this aspect of the business as well.    I can also facilitate in the importation and sales of certain Land Rover Defenders NEWER than 25 years old, namely LHD 1993 - 1997 Defender 110 and 90s.

Stay tuned for a new upcoming website as well -   zombiemotors.net  -   Where I will be offering my public sales and services,  and all new vehicles imported from Europe.

For the time being,  I still have more Tdi Range Rover Classics than you can shake a stick at,  and I am still buying them  -  Cash waiting for nice, rust-free Range Rovers 1970-1995,  running or not.   Of course, I also have turbo-diesel engine kits on hand at most times, too.

Physical address (Please make an appointment before dropping by!)  is:

7220 N. Burlington AVE, Portland OR 97203 ,  and I take calls during normal business hours at 503-810-4713   -   Best to email me at zak@zombiemotors.net

Couple more updates to the 1986 D90 - Rear seats out, new load mat & center console..

   Hiya'.

I have been busy getting the newest 40' container loaded and on its way   (I have a 110 and another 90 coming ) so have not had much time to do anything else here at the shop, but today finally had some time to spend with the 1986 90  -     I removed the rear seats that were there   -     It would have been difficult to get into them with the hard top on and them moved back far enough for adults to have leg room (Though they will likely go back in soon) - -  I may order sideways-facing rear seats for this truck soon.

After I removed the rear seats I pulled out the old load mat  and drilled out the screws for its retaining strip -  Pressure washed out the back of the truck and offered in a brand-new load mat & put a couple of screws in the new stainless steel retaining strip in back  -   It looks pretty great back there!

Got a brand-new center console installed today too.      The brown one matched the front seats,   but was pretty shabby.  This black one looks great and has cup holders.     I'll drink to that.

I have even applied a little 'elbow grease'  to the body with some rubbing compound -  Just about 20 minute's worth -   And the paint DOES shine up nice!  Nothing to be done about the door bottoms which have oxidized,  but the rest of the truck will actually respond well to a good cut and buff.

Here are a few pictures.     Sorry about the exhaust system in the front seat here -  This is going to the muffler shop in the morning to have a completely new exhaust (OEM) fitted.

More soon.   I am going to sell this truck soon I decided.   I have another 90 coming, and I have a couple of 110s to pay for and shipping, and the baby needs things.

      Thanks for checking in!
